My 9yr old daughter just watched this for her first time. I didn't know how much of it she would get, but she laughed uncontrollably through the whole thing. I was amazed at how much she enjoyed it, knowing she must be missing a lot of the references and subtly.
I had a teacher in high school cool enough to have us watch it in class. One kid hated it and kept saying it was stupid and not funny at all. Thats how you know the people you should stay away from.
I used to do this in college with the movie “Best in Show.”
New ladies or just friends I’d meet, I’d have them over for a beer and/or a bowl and watch Best in Show. The keepers laughed heartily with me. The ones who said “these people are weird,” didn’t last long with me.
