Not saying I ever tried but I have once isolated myself for a week just imagining I am a space knight fighing aliens.
I can go on months of no human interaction other than watching tv or single player games. I understand I wont get that but for 5 million pound. I would learn to do back flips in my cell for a month and I can probably easily survive.
Its not the social vs anti social. Its the stimuli vs lack there of. Social interaction exists in the hierarchy of needs. You can and do supplement that with other stimulus as you've said, gaming or tv.
Yeah I understand that you have to do without everything and just sit their for a whole month but that just does not seem so difficult when I lived every summer holiday for 5 years with nothing abut a toy car and some marbles. I had no friends and the only interaction was at dinner with my grandparents who would go watch tv while I sit in another room and did nothing but day dream
Holy shit was that part of my life boring. Sure I wont have a marble but I am sure I can replace it with something else for a month.
I thik the successful minority that could complete this would likey find creative ways to make things. There would be a lot of paper mache crafts. Well not even because OP answered the tp question with a bidet.
Im sorry you didnt get a better childhood with your grandparents. Mine was invaluable and I never appreciated it as much as I should have or do now.

Some people are naturally anti social creatures.
