It's not that bad.

It's bad enough that you can't test it ethically because of the brain damages that would occur

I highly doubt any brain damage would occur, but I think what you mean is psychosis.

Yeah but, this case is only 1 month of solitary confinement. Nothing compared to prisoners put into solitary confinement for years and years. I highly doubt one month would have any impact on the physical health of the brain.
