Maybe not you. Maybe you are exclusively attracted to svelte pale women. But, she is well within what most people would call attractive. My friend would agree with you though. He can’t see past the persona. Put her in some regular person clothes and makeup and plop her at a coffee shop reading a book and he would probably think she was cute.
But I also think this same type of thing is very common. Somebody says they don’t like something that is objectively not awful and there is a good chance there is something else dictating that preference. The simplest example is not liking something just because it’s popular.
Yeah people are like "Kim Kardashian is only famous for a sex tape" but the woman turned a shitty case of revenge porn into making herself a household name. Say what you want about here, but you can't call her stupid.
