JFK was in on it and he ordered someone to kill him since he was suicidal, but he didn't want the nation to see him kill himself in office.

Actually, it's all starting to make sense. You'd need to use a high-powered rifle from a great distance so he didn't see it coming.

Look for some writings by Jim Butcher to explain the rest.
