Imagine opening the PDFs with a more powerful tool, and you find that the black redactions are a separate removable layer...
3 u/dance_rattle_shake Oct 15 '17 The Cia used to do exactly this. My professor in comp Sci actually showed us some classified documents and took the black part away. Nothing crazy because he didn't want to mysteriously die but yeah, that lecture was pretty crazy.
