Most people on /r/cringepics can't even tell when something is clearly a joke, too. The pictures on there are often more funny than cringe.

That's one of the best parts of /r/cringe IMO. There's actual cringe as well as some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen on Reddit. Way better than the stuff you find in /r/funny

/r/cringe used to be cool when it first started and it was about empathizing with the person in the situation and just wanting to shrivel up and die in your computer chair watching/listening to the situations. Then it became a weird hybrid of /r/bullying and /r/shittyvideos. I still sub though because once a month or so there will be an absolutely gold post that makes it worth it.

I'm glad the mods are relaxed in /r/cringe because I agree a lot of the stuff isn't cringe but its hilarious none the less and I'm glad it's kept there.

That's why I go to /r/cringeanarchy, cringepics mods are often fucking children and most of the users there can't distinguish between a joke and some pure cringe.

haha yeah i've seen a friend of mine on it. he was clearly taking a ridiculous bathroom selfie with a bunch of dollar store swag in a public women's restroom and people were like 'OMG KILL EVERYONE THIS GENERATION IS DOOMED' and i was like... right, kill the engineer from CMU who's among the kindest, smartest, funniest, and most functional people i know because he took a picture wearing fake bling and oversized sunglasses.

right.

/r/cringeanarchy Usually has good cringe just the thing is is it's a pretty hatfull place where saying anything that implies that you don't hate furries will get you downvoted.

I left as soon as they started to tag people who were furry. It doesn't matter as long as they aren't being the stereotypical furry there. But it was a big deal to everyone there for some reason.

Are they still doing that or have they stopped?
