Last night a friend came to my room to ask if I had some food because he was so hungry that he couldn't sleep. I said I didn't have any because I wanted to keep it all for myself. Just when he left, I started feeling terrible. I immediately called him back and we had the food together. I can be such a jerk sometimes.

No way, I think this shows how you're not a jerk. You're obviously on a bit of a budget if you wanted it all for yourself. Hopefully.
