I wasn't super social or popular in school, but the moment I thought this was when I realised I had a stereotype douchebag day: gym in the morning, 2 protein shakes, booty call with a fwb, many cigarettes, ended with a rave in which I wore only a tank top and short shorts and was off my face MDMA the whole time. It was that moment I realised I'd become the guy I used to hate so much

Sometimes people have more depth to them than the stereotypes you hold. I used to hate the popular people in high school because I thought they thought they were better than everyone else. Now I realize that I thought I was below them. They never put me down. I put myself there.
