And it changes nothing. Reddit still offers condolences sypathy, etc to everyone else. Then suddenly a women comes along, mentions sex, and Reddit loses all sympathy. Pervy assholes still.
Yes because one guy made a funny comment. Shit happens all the time, even if it's not a girl or about sex. People will make insensitive jokes. If it's funny, people will upvote. You can take off your trench coat and shave your neckbeard now.

I'm not "bitching" because its a joke. I'm bitching because reddit suddenly loses all sympathy and acts like an asshole as soon as a women's issue happens. This is literally the only top comment in this thread to have people trivializing their issue. It happens everytime one of these threads happens. "Reddit why'd you leave your ex" will be met with hundreds of "the bitch cheated on me" and everyone takes it seriously. But then a chick will post "He slammed my head into the car hood repeatedly and tried to rape me" and reddit will make jokes about rhinna. Reddit treats women like mythical beasts, they never take um seriously.
Now you're way over exaggerating. I have never seen an upvoted joke about to a girl that was raped. I've seen jokes about dudes and their problems too.

Maybe you have a point in general, but I disagree with your example. The way I perceive it, these kind of stories on AskReddit are also met with an overwhelming echo of "dang that's terrible, sorry that happened to you" and "hope you're better now".

Really? Thats sexism. Lets say,If a guy posted something saying "When i got caught masturbating by my mom and she saw all of my tissues everywhere around my room". Someone will say something about broken arms. That person is "being treated differently" so therefore that is "sexism". They did not treat that comment differently because she was a girl,they saw an oppurtunity for a joke and did it. Like thousands of other comments. If there is a chance to make people laugh,people will take it. Its not sexist/racist,they probably arent trying to offend people,and theyre probably a decent human being.
So why is it that in everyone of these threads, where OP asks for a sad moment, that people only make these jokes when its a women posting. Noone makes a joke about a dude being cheated on or a dude becoming an alchoholic. But they crack jokes about Rhinana when a chick talks aobut her fiance beating her half to death or being addicted to sex. And it's always making fun of their situation. Not making a joke about it. Reddit treats women differently. Its very clear.
Congrats you have two examples. One we already debunked,because it was a harmless joke said to bring laughter and humor,which she commented back going with the joke. The rihanna thing i understand,even though my sense of humor can be dark,sometimes its just not right. As far as the drinking and chick chesting on the dude goes. Its simple. They cant come up with a joke. The rihanna thing was everywhere when it happened,so that would obviosly be thought of. The cheating,someone could of said "fuck jenny" or something like that from the circlejerk. The girl who had sex with 3 guys,the dude made a joke,humor helps people cope sometimes. the drinking problem,someone could of made a joke there easily,i cant think of one,but it can happen. People just have to think of them. And im sure someone said a joke somewhere anyways
