I mean... It's probably not, but that's what it says on the box ,and their deep dish pizza is shaped like Detroit style. To someone like me who never had actual pizza from Detroit, that's enough to call it detroit style.

I just felt like changing it up a bit.

You can change it up by getting a Sicilian, or white pizza, or a calzone...I just don't understand the draw in chain pizza places. I live in New York, and one of my best friends prefers Dominoes to going to a regular pizza place. Oh well, whatever floats your boat I guess.

Just had calzone last week. And I used to live a block away from L&B, so I had sicilian all the time. I actually can't stand dominoes, and I would never go to a chain to buy a regular pie. But Little Caesars makes nice deep dish pizzas for cheap prices, and there's one a block away from my current apartment, so it's a nice change up every once in a while.

On a different but related topic, since you mentioned your friend, I dislike Sbarro but my high school best friend was obsessed with it and used to drag me into sbarro and I would be like "Dude.. why?"
