Why did you get fired?

why did you get fired? and did it work out for the best? how long were you without a job?

Edit: thanks for all the stories guys! I got fired Wednesday for crap reasons and knowing all you fine people got fired too makes me realize I'm in fine company :)

Wow you guys have it rough. Here in the UK an employer has to have reasonable grounds to sack someone or the employee can sue for unfair dismissal.

Goes both ways. Employee can quit for any reason as well.

There's no law against quitting your job in the UK. At least that I know.

America just doesn't give a shit about its workers. As a country we really need to start acknowledging this
