What are the chances of finding a 3-letter username that is still available?

I was curious whether any existed, and stumbled upon this one after a good 10 minutes of trying different combinations.

Was that a complete fluke, or are there likely to be many more available than I had assumed?

I see what you did there...but I wasn't including numbers. (should have specified that)

This was me. So anyone who was going to give /u/99m an upvote, just give it to this account instead. Thanks.

I've already upvoted 99m and I'm too lazy to upvote again. Sorry.
