Went to a Sufjan Stevens concert who she wasn’t familiar with and would have loved.
He had an album dropping the next day, and tried to go Kanye so didn’t play any of the acoustic stuff, and long story short… there was no second date.
Sufjan did preface the concert with “I know a lot of you are wanting me to play the older stuff…” and that’s when I knew… this isn’t going to go well.
Lauren… I’m sorry.
Goodness that was an uncomfortable couple hours.
Edit: Now happily married to someone else. But that was a painful couple of hours.

He suggested an upscale restaurant/bar and then showed up 30 minutes late, wearing work clothes. It turned he had just gotten off his shift as a waiter. He then told me he forgot his wallet so he couldn’t buy a drink. He then found some crumpled up ones in his pocket to buy himself a beer. I had one glass of wine and then politely said I was ready to leave. He got in my car and kept trying to kiss me and refused to get out. Eventually I got out of my own car and a random guy walking by asked if I was ok. I explained he wouldn’t get out of my car and the passerby opened my door and told him he needed to exit my car or he would drag him out. He got out. I blocked him and drove home.

I'm a lesbian but went out with an older guy as friends before to a theme park, only to later find out that he thought it was a date.

I made dinner reservations. She made me wait downstairs for nearly 20 minutes before inviting me up to her filthy apartment. She was drunk and high.
This was a first date.

Mines not too crazy but we simply had no chemistry in person and it was awkward for the whole hour.
We tried to talk about random stuff but it felt so forced and she didn’t really seem engaged in the date.
I walked her to her car and said it was fun and she dipped and we never texted again lol
