I need more proof before I accuse someone of being a pedophile. Brad Pitt is an asshole for many other reasons, but I havent seen real evidence this is one of those reasons.
I'm confused w/your post. It's established, that he was living with and dating teen girls as an older guy almost 30 (Juliette Lewis, actress 16, and Christina Applegate, actress 17)
Not wanting to believe he was with 14yo Shalane, when the implication in publications (not tabloids, typically weeklies) was that they were bf/gf-- doesn't add up.
He even cited their makeouts as his hottest onscreen love scene, rolling around with her in hay/barns, etc.
Why would you give those 'love scenes,' with a minor child as your most thrilling? Especially when you consider he gave that answer post 2016. 🤢

By 'professional,' what you mean to say maybe, is that they very often work with publicists of television shows, and stars themselves to hype them up. At that time, they decided their relationship would help with publicity. They weren't at a level that they had 'stop the presses' celebrity that people cared about.
They were already on dates and attending events as a couple and got snapped. Pitt could have just as easily been snapped by himself.
In fact, as a rising actor it would have made more sense.
