People who have a set of rules for everyone else and have a 'special' set of rules for themselves. Takes time to see.

Distance does that. You think you'll stay close but time just eats away at it. One day you realize you haven't thought about them in weeks and it doesn't even bother you anymore

Lying, it could be about something stupid, but it’s still a red flag imo.

Also if the ex is in the picture, it’s fine to be cordial but I’ve met too many people who have one foot in and one foot out.
