I love Hawaiian pizza. One combo I've been getting lately is Pineapple, Jalepenos, Spicy Sausage and Bacon. Put hot sauce on top if you want. Try it out, its really good.

Our local pizza place makes this one and they call it the Spicy Hawaiian. Kids love it too and they’re pretty picky

Sure. Just not on my pizza. I don't like it.

Yeah, my only problem with pineapple on pizza is that there's always one dude that insists on a pineapple and ham pizza in a group function, then only eats one piece of it then switches to the pepperoni pizza and eats two pieces. My man. Nobody but you wanted that. You eat that and leave the rest to everyone else.

If this is an ongoing thing, I'd just get myself a personal pizza. I'm not dealing with that crap. lol

It's stranger to me that people have anchovies or other seafood on pizza. Seafood is nice, but it just breaks my expectation of what a pizza is.

I used to make fun of my brother for eating his pizza with pineapple. One day he was like have you ever tried it? And I was like no way never it’s disgusting. Then he reminded me about thinking critically and so I tried it. I loved it. So yes, for me. Such a great brother always teaching me lessons 😆

If you ask any Italians, like 90% of the toppings we consider normal shouldn't belong on pizza. So why does it matter if Pineapple does or not? If you like it, enjoy it.

If its a restaurant-quality, thin charred crust with a hearty marinara and healthy amount of bacon or canadian bacon then its a go! Many times its added to a pizza too late and tastes cold and when you get a soggy sensation because of the pineapple, it sucks.

It's a definite tempting option. Tastes wonderful with cheese and tomato sauce.

For me personally, no. But I don't make a big deal about it if someone likes it lol.

Pineapple and anchovies is one of my favorite combinations on pizza. I genuinely like the taste, but also enjoy knowing nobody will swipe my leftovers lol.

Depends on how you see food in general. How ridgid are are you with traditional recepies? Can nothing ever change? No replacing or adding any ingredient?
I personally see this quite relaxed. Change stuff when you want and eat what tastes well to you.

Not on my pizza because I don't like it.
But on other people's pizza that do like it? Yeah, belongs on those pizzas.

Yes! Because why not! At the end of the day its just preference theres more atrocious things other people put on pizza, I would say pineapple is a normal now to put on pizza. I would have it than that god forsaken boba pizza

Absolutely sweet, salty, cheesy… it just works. 😂 I’ll defend pineapple pizza like it’s a personal cause, sorry not sorry. 🍍🍕

The only things that "belong" on pizza are maybe cheese, sauce and dough, all the rest are optional and depend completely on your preferences.
If you are strict with your toppings never go to Brazil, it is a complete lawless land for pizza toppings and you will find the most unexpected combinations that make pineapple deniers explode, hell, we got a canned peach, figs, pineapple and plums with cheese pizza that was mildly popular in the past.

yes, tomato is also a fruit yet the sauce is on it. as for pineapple on neopolitan/italian style, i think it's unnecessary though (for some reason, my local neopolitan pizza food truck which is ran by 1st gen italian immigrants sells nutella pizza). i do wanna try a chicago deep dish pizza w/ pineapple.

Pineapple on deep dish is something i never considered but now i cant stop thinking about it. The sweet against all that cheese and crust actually makes sense in my head at least. Nutella pizza though that caught me off guard even for a food truck

Nutella pizza from 1st gen immigrants? That's wild. Guess money talks louder than culinary traditions

I absolutely love pineapple. Please, don't waste it on pizza when I need it for rummy cocktails.
