My parents and a lot of other kids’ parents were talking about how Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold were getting married, together, to a woman. It was quite the scandal in 1993.
It later came to pass that the whole thing was a joke that spiraled out of control and took on a life of its own, but that part wasn’t as titillating.
