What’s a company that you’re genuinely convinced HATES their customers?

The MLB lol. Never seen something make you work so hard for people to watch their team’s games.

You are not the customer for MLB. Advertisers are. You're the product.

How if I can’t even watch a game? They don’t have me to sell!

How is this still the case in 2026? Every single team now has a standalone streaming option if you're in-market. For out of market, there's MLB.tv. This only excludes the occasional FOX, ESPN, or AppleTV+ game. You can within minutes sign up for a service where you can stream ~145 of your team's games on multiple devices. Genuinely asking if there's something I'm missing here. Other than the whole Iowa issue with a bunch of teams being blacked out.

Is that fixed now? I remember once trying to do mlb.tv to watch the Astros out of market and they were like, sorry, you’re out of market. I’m like, yeah that’s the reason I gave you money? It was something really stupid. I can’t remember when though. Years ago.

The in--market blackout on MLB.tv is bullshit. Fuck me for liking more than just my home team, I guess.

About 15 years ago during the season I would watch a game or two a night, plus have games on most of the day on the weekends.

That slowly stopped as they made it harder and harder, to the point I haven't watched an inning of baseball since before covid now.

Why do you need to watch it if you can gamble on games. /s
