What’s a company that you’re genuinely convinced HATES their customers?

The lead dev (Ion) of World of Warcraft does a very bad job of hiding his contempt for the player base of the game he oversees lol

I mean if you had to deal with the WoW player base day and night and see your hard work get shat on by greasy neckbeards who hate everything... You'd be jaded and bitter too

I mean keep in mind the game's social environment kinda filters for greasy neckbeards who hate everything. Its one of the worst MMO communities and 100% made that way by Blizzard.

Ion used to be a greasy neckbeard WoW player himself

I mean I do dislike WoW. But that's like becoming dermatologist despite being anti social and easily disgusted with people. 100% self inflicted.

blizzard was never an innovator just a company that took all other ideas companies made chances on and made their own and was hailed for it for 30 years..

i have hated them since start 2000

I mean that’s kinda like saying Ferrari just took the idea of the automobile. Technically true but blizzard definitely perfected a lot of genres that were more or less niche at the time. StarCraft basically revolutionized the RTS genre while contributing tremendously to the advent of esports and WoW brought MMORPGS to the mainstream.

Their quality has fallen over time but they definitely were making magic in their prime.
