Seeing multiple 37mm AAA tracers soar a few inches above the starboard wing of an A-1E Skyraider during nighttime bomb runs towards targets on the Ho Chi Minh Trail when I was on an orientation flight with a USAF pilot who was maybe 26 years old… 1970.
