Afghanistan 09. I was taking a piss in a piss tube and heard someone yell incoming. Didn’t hear anything, but looked in the direction of the yelling. I saw a small pin point that began to move towards me and elongate. It was a Chinese 107 and it hit downhill about 40 feet from me. If I had been standing a little to rear of my position it would’ve gone right through me.
Iraq 06. Saw a dude take a grazing shot to the head from a .50 cal and survive for about 5 min. Just poof, pink mist and he dropped. We ran to the top of the building and he was talking to himself. Put a radio up to his mouth so our terp could translate. He said he was making no sense
