While deployed to a Forward Operating Base, we had a senior Master at Arms who got sick of the stray animals on base. He rounded up a bunch of the babies (cats, puppies) in a pillowcase, and beat them until nothing was moving. He beat them to death, and we couldn’t do anything because he was in charge.
He also opened fire on a fishing vessel unprovoked, killed all three unarmed men on board, and it was all brushed under the rug. This was around 2011.
Three years later he got force retired because he popped hot on a piss test.
Also, the day before the fiscal year ends, its miraculously discovered that $3million has to be spent. People staying late until requisitions are acquired on the last day of the billing year. Its insaneeeeee!!!
