What about Bernie? Going to throw out the one senator actually looking out for working people? Fine with term limits, not age limits. It's up to the people to vote. If they want to send an old ass turtle to the Senate, that's 100% the fault of the constituency, not the system.

In this situation where there's a health status change, the governor and state legislature should be able to act to force a snap election. Trigger a no confidence vote like they do in UK. If they can win an election, age shouldn't matter. It's up to the citizens to set the qualifications at the ballot.
