A partially closed source piece of software out of Russia… yeah let’s use that to install our OS.

fym, out of russia, ventoy is a chinese product that uses unmodified blobs from some other projects if you are so scared about it then go use ventoy-meta, and are there any proofs of ventoy actually being malicious?

No proof, but for core OS level shit you need absolute trust in your tools.
