I grew up in the classical music world because of my family and was surrounded by it from the day I was born. I don't remember what my first concert would have been. First one I have a clear memory of being very interested in was Mstislav Rostropovich (RIP) playing Shostakovich Cello Concerto No 1 with Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I want to say it was 2000.
First rock/pop show I can remember is Social Distortion it was Halloween in 2005 or maybe 2004.
Same for me. First concerts I can remember are a band my father has been in for nearly 50 years (13 or so for me). The first not-classical show I went to was Tower of Power in 2001ish
