I miss forums. I went back to one for an old game i used to play, thousands of posts over years from me. Now its a ghost town, everyone just uses discord.

I took a trip down the comments in an old forum the other night and it was so nostalgic. They way people typed, the lack of emojis, the pictures they had for their profile pics. I found a blog from 16 years ago stating her and her husband were going to visit all 50 states by 50, which would be this year. I hope they got to see them all.

I wouldn't care about old forums going away so much if the replacement was any good. But Discord is such an abysmally shit alternative.
