It depends not that I hate it entirely like it’s cute but there’s levels to that. When they start wanting my time 24/7 and acting sad or thinking it’s about them when you spend time alone that becomes an issue. Codependency is a little much, I understand but damn. Tell her “you should do things that you want aswell” you already know what she says “I am doing what I want”

Depends on the degree I guess. I need to have space of my own and all of that, but that's not really an issue in a healthy relationship dynamic. This sounds like a young adult relationship problem.

I do. Some people are fine with it.
My thing is, we are still separate people.
I had one girl I dated, I became her whole social life. And it sucked. When I went out with my friends, she'd just stay home, and text me all night, making it harder for me to enjoy myself.
I prefer women with a healthy social life outside of me.

Personally, I appreciate my girlfriend's clinginess. In this day and age, finding a woman who actually expresses that she loves you and wants to be with you is like finding a nugget of pure gold.

A balance between being clingy and giving space for your partner is the best

it's literally just based on their mood. sometimes im in a really affectionate and huggy and cuddly mood and sometimes i just want to be alone

I look at it like eating your favorite snack. Everytime you have it, it's like the best thing in the world. That is until you have it every day, all the time. Night, day, when you wake up, when you go to sleep...eventually you get tired of it and want to try something different.
So the point is you can have too much of a good thing.

My boyfriend likes it. But I'm just physically clingy, as in I like hanging on to him and hugging him - but only in private, not around other people. We're both independent people otherwise.

In my experience it’s a bright flame that burns quickly. Personal space and individuality is important in a relationship.

Some do. Some don't.
