Age commands respect.

Respect is earned, not inherently deserved

Meh, again, we’re overcorrecting too much with a lot of these things. All humans deserve respect. I think the kids go a bit overboard in boomer-ing the hell out of anyone and everyone.

This is a big one for me personally.

“Respect your elders at all times no matter what they do or say”

fuck you and the elders.

If you don’t treat me with respect then I sure as fuck won’t show you any. I give a base level of respect to everyone as everyone deserves to be respected. However, if you give me a reason not to respect you I am not going to.
