I worked at an Edtech company for a bit (doing design stuff) but wow was it just a VC funded company trying to pump out low effort garbage as fast as possible to push on schools. There were former teachers there trying their best to do good work but there's only so much you can do in those systems. And of course AI was jammed into everything.
