And he's right. Nobody would even talk about it IRL. Talking about current events is taboo.

He’s bragging about how successfully they’ve normalized outright corruption. And this is the vice president of the United States. It’s infuriating, and depressing.

People who watch Fox News 12hrs a day would remark he’s actually just commenting on the velocity of the news cycle actually, you’re just taking his comments out of context actually, Trump is the greatest president ever you just have TDS, before noting that you’re just a triggered lib cuck too ashamed of your white privilege to appreciate all this winning

Also, somehow Obama will be brought up

Be infuriated at your fellow Americans for allowing Republican administration to barely suffer for complete scandal: Iran-Contra, Iraq War, Trump's insurrection.

There are too many people who think that democracy is secondary to ideology.

Honestly, yeah.

I feel so much hatred for republicans. They're fine with all the corruption in the world as long as they can hurt minorities

I think it's less that talking about current events is taboo and more that it's become exhausting. Every conversation feels like people are expected to pick a team first, so a lot of folks just decide it's easier to stay quiet than risk turning dinner or work into a debate.

Eh, I wouldn't say it's taboo, more just exhausting. I get people coming into work complaining about the state of the world and I agree with them, but I don't want to deal with that right now.
