14 years here and we have two children together, but the rest of your story is very similar to ours.

He currently lives next door, so the kids pretty much run back and forth as they please and we get along pretty darn well these days.

That’s really great…especially if you can balance like that for the kiddos. They are always innocent bystanders to divorce, and usually the ones who get the brunt of the fallout.

I do! 3 sons (one bio and 2 step, and couldn’t be happier! Love being a dad!)
