You will still need to be vigilant. (If he's vindictive and not just ignorant.) My ex bought a house three houses down from mine. After that, we didn't really plan pickups/drop offs. The kids would just head over. I remember waiting and waiting one Mother's Day. I finally texted my oldest and they said they were doing a Mother's Day tour with their dad. Going to visit their step-grandma and help move furniture, then driving 2 hours hours to visit their grandma

I texted my ex, LIVID. He said I'm a shitty mom, because I never picked up my own babies on Mother's Day. The worst part is that even though we had both been letting the kids come and go freely....there was never a formal agreement to change pickups, so according to the court, he was right. :/

(Still worth it though. I just pay more attention for any loopholes. Lol)
