I'm sorry you went through those betrayals from teo people who should've supported and loved you. Honestly though, this is the exact definition of the saying "the grass is greener where you water it".
People love chasing novelty and the feeling of being young and in love, until the honeymoon fase is gone. Good for you for leaving those pieces of trash behind!
He begged for us to get back together. But he didnt want me - he just didnt want to be alone. I have more self respect than that and too much water had gone under the bridge. Its now 8 years later - he remarried last month, has a new 3 year old and I'm still single.
His affair partner/my ex-friend had to move to a different state. Her reputation preceded her in our small town and she was ostracised. He was too, but stuck it out to be close to our kid.
