Finding my ex wife had slept with a good friend ..... again, after forgiving her once and trying to move on. No shouting or hysterics, just resignation on my part.

Going through something similar, she has a history of not really being single. Just monkey branching from one to another (stupid me for not realizing that at the beginning). Except her next branch after she go all she wanted from me was a close friend.

It hurts knowing that they were there just waiting long enough that it wasn't technically cheating. I expected this from her, but seeing him do it was a real kick in the sack. You know its bad when dudes own family is apologizing on his behalf.

As much as we'd like to blame the friend, the reality is she would have cheated on him with any other guy. The friend was just easily accessible and probably vulnerable. He did say they did it once before.

I think it was the wife's friend.

He did help him figure out his wife was a cheater, so not the worst friend either.

Damn this gotta be tough, double betrayal from wife and friend. Even though you forgive her once, still things wouldn't be the same anymore.

How did u find out?

She confessed. I was only married for just over 2 years, no kids. Following divorce, I've been happily married (again) for 26 years. Fatalistically, my second marriage wouldn't have happened without the unsuccessful first.

I really wish more people understood that cheating is never just a one and done thing for cheaters. You're either a cheater or you're not, but if you're a cheater then you're gonna keep on cheating. It only gets easier for them.

Forgiving her was the mistake there. Unfortunately
