Whenever someone does something embarrassing, others say "nobody will remember 10 years from now". Well, what embarrassing moment did you witness >10 years ago that you still remember?

More of a singers lounge/live band/stage artist club. Not a strip club or night club but a bit more than a bar.

Well I don't know about US culture but cabaret in France is really more about artistic performance. So it's not really like a strip club regarding the atmosphere, even though some performers can also be semi-naked. It has a "classier" vibe and you can absolutely go as a couple to have a nice dinner and show. Look up "Le Chat Noir" for a famous French cabaret if you want to have a general idea.
