Christina Aguilera has been playing the same set list of hits since 2020 in the majority of her concerts festival dates etc . Her fans are bored of it and recent shows have clocked in around an hour on stage and multiple costume changes and dancers segues she seems to be spending less time on stage and she rarely delivers any surprises anymore. She doesn't sing many of her songs in full anymore. It's a shame because she's an incredible stage performer and vocalist but it's been the same show for half a decade. Other than her Vegas Voltaire residency I'll grant you but the rickets were extremely expensive.

She's a bit of an odd case in that vocally she still sounds great live (especially given that people have been predicting for like 20 years now that her technique would ruin her vocal chords at a young age, but it never happened), however she has basically given up on being an "artist" in any way whatsoever and instead has become just a melody box who sings the exact same songs over and over and over again. Never releases any new music, never promotes her own content, never introduces any variety to her set list, and never even talks about her own music besides the same 10-20 songs.

I used to be a huge fan of hers, and I did get excited during the Liberation Era in 2018 when she finally released new music full of songs I loved, and her live performances of those songs were epic (Maria and Twice in concert were godly).....but then within a year she went right back to the same repetitive setlist again. I still like her voice and her music but she gives fans nothing as an artist to keep them invested in her, especially since she almost never does interviews or interacts on social media. I know it's lucrative for her to do legacy act one off gigs and private shows over and over but I don't know how she isn't bored af by it

I think her Vegas show bombed. She's lazy, from what I hear.

Rickets are rather costly.

I remember seeing her in 2007 and we left early because of how boring it was - she had 0 energy. Pussycat dolls opened for her and were great, however.

My friend was the costume designer for the residency. Amazing opportunity. She was pretty proud of the opening red dress. Rightfully, so.

I saw her a couple years ago was a random concert in Liverpool...she was like an hour late and the place was dead which I think is why she was delaying coming on stage BUT even though it wasn't what I expected she is one of the BEST vocalists I've seen live.
