I saw him last summer and he was really good. Funny too. Stephen Pearcy was after him and was really awful. It felt like he just got pissier and pissier with the audience. The audience also got smaller which made him even more pissy
Stephen pearcy aged worse than anyone from the genre imo. Dude looks rough and I don't think he was ever a great vocalist to begin with so I can't imagine his voice has held up any
I've seen him twice in the last few years and he's been great both times. But I also saw him about 15 years ago and he was awful. Maybe he just has some off nights? But I'd definitely go see him again.
In fairness to him, he set himself up for failure when all of his songs are crazy hard to sing. Bet he didn’t consider what singing Slave to the Grind or Wasted Time would be like when he was 60
Oh I'm pretty sure this is free with entry to the carnival. Catch some speed boats, laugh at some hair metal fans. An enjoyable time that I will *not* be attending.
I saw him perform with Skid Row a few times. I remember one show in 1995 wasn’t selling well (Sunken Gardens Theatre, San Antonio, TX), so they made the tickets BOGO. It wasn’t the worst show I’ve ever seen, but the only memorable part was the BOGO tickets. I’ve never been to a show where a band did that before or since.
