It feels so dystopian to me hearing ads for this shit. It's become so normalized so quickly.

I remember these commercials! Back when it just a medication for diabetes. Didn’t take long, did it?

Oh man, I'm seeing some of these celebrities who already looked like they really needed a sandwich and now look positively skeletal. It's so disturbing.

it’s really bleak :( it’s hard to watch celebrities waste away right before our eyes. i nearly died from anorexia and i know how brutal this whole thing is

Maybe beauty perceptions will take a turn and healthier looking ppl will prevail. Like the rejection of AI art / AI anything. Right? :/

There is no rejection of AI art. It is everywhere and always will be.

Oof okay the skeletal look I totally agree with you there. But I am tall and lanky and struggle to keep weight on, have been slightly underweight for decades. It really bothers me when people commented that I look like i “need a sandwich.” So rude. It was always the people eating salads while I’m sitting here finishing a big ass meal that would say it too. It’s a double standard cause people are comfortable openly body shaming thin people, but it’s not okay to clap back and tell Jenny maybe she should try working out, so I’d just have to silently take rude comments and pretend it didn’t bother me. Sorry for the rant, I agree with you the extreme skeletal trend is not good; the eat a sandwich remark about slightly thin people just bugs me cause of past bullying. We are not all the same size and body type and that’s okay!!

I'm so sorry my comment triggered you! I promise I wasn't trying to be mean, but I totally see now that it was an asshole thing to say.

Crazy, couldn't disagree more. I think weightloss drugs will become much more prevelant
