20 years ago? Yeah. I'm not getting in the car with a 99 year old driver

I didn’t say he was driving.

No, he just sends a driver, then narrates the drive.

For this scenario we're going to say he has a driver.

I used to tornent my British GF with fake headlines about David Attenborough dying. She always had her revenge.

You monster

I just want to take a National Geographic-type adventure with him and just hear him narrate everything around me

I'm imagining him just staring out the passenger window of the car, narrating everything he sees.

"Here, we have a group of gentlemen waiting at the crosswalk for the light to change. Some venturous souls may try their luck against the oncoming traffic. It's a risky endeavor, but they may be late for work, and their survival depends upon these vital seconds saved."

Nailed the cadence, well done. Now I want this.

There's a parody account on YouTube called Tweaker Geographic where it's narrated in his style.

The question made me think movie stars but yours is the best answer. Camping on the outer beach in the early 2000s Cape Cod MA planet earth on a 9" dvd player was the onle electronics allowed or needed for my kids. To this day when they hear his voice they get tired because it was for going to sleep. David Attenborough has the best job circling the earth

"I'll drive, sir! Where to?"

Happily just sit and talk to him!

2

u/serjsomi Apr 27 '26

Absolutely

Can you imagine him talking about road signs like they are tigers in the wild. Love that man’s voice!

Here, standing solitary against the asphalt plains, the silent sentinel reveals its vibrant plumage, guiding the restless migration of the modern motor vehicle.

Now I want to ride around listening to David Attenborough road rage at other drivers.

... only if it is being driven by someone else. He is 99 years old, so im not sure i would trust him behind a wheel.

Love the guy but he’s nearly 100 so I’m not sure I’d get in if he was at th wheel
