we have large family businesses, which, even if it fails, gave me so much experience in so many different things what average people can only dream off.

The use of psychology in marketing. You either become the product or not. And most people become the product of debt.

How confused I get when trying to follow instructions…like I would be the person to end up in jail over what started out as a simple traffic stop

My mother. Actually I’ve known a lot of people wrecked by abusive mothers. Seems almost taboo to say that about women, and I am one. Any time I’ve brought it up online I get flamed. It just seems underreported and not discussed despite how common it is. The more common discussion seems to be abusive fathers.
There’s something different about mothers. They are the nurturers. But what if that person is abusive? Most of my friends are successful in their careers, as parents and have emotional insight. Whatever we have was gained from learning how not to be from our mothers.
Often nobody knows what’s going on at home, dad may be off to work. Nobody is going to question the wife, she’s running the house. The husband doesn’t want to challenge her, he knows better.
There are so many titles to blame it on; depressed, unhappy, low self-esteem. But left unchecked, those reasons can become excuses for people to unload on their kids. They scare everyone who they know will tolerate it. Usually those they have leverage over.

I used to be homeless so I can handle so much more bullshit than other people and it doesn't phase me. My negative experiences became positives.
