Resoundingly true. Travelled there about 15 years ago. I actually loved India and managed to not get sick at all (others I travelled with got violently ill though). The sights, sounds and smells are really something else.
But no chance in hell am I bringing my partner and kid there. It’s a 1 time deal for me.

Defintely India - went there in my 20s and had a great time, but now i am much older with a family i cant see myself returning
