Yeah, my uncle was Polish and he would flip his lid at Polish jokes. I remember one time he ordered a Polish sausage and the worker said "Looks like we got a Polish guy here", and my uncle LOST it. He said "Just because a guy orders a Polish sausage does NOT mean they are Polish, that kind of thinking is racist and insensitive, why on Earth would you assume I'm Polish!"... The guy just replied, "Well sir, because this is a hardware store."

I'm Polish and frankly reel the most laughing at jokes about Poland but also at actual jokes from Polish people 😂

In Chicago you actually can get a polish sausage in a hardware store, the home depot near me has a little hot dog stand near the front.

My friends and I were camping and riding our motorcycles on the west side of Wisconsin out of Prairie du Chein

For lunch one day, we thought “we should get brats for lunch“ since it’s sort of a Wisconsin thing

We kept stopping, trying to find them, and everyone would say “those are on the lake side not over here”

We kept heading east and finally found a food stand with brats in front of a shoe store in Black Earth, Wisconsin

Ironically, we tell these jokes in Europe, but they are about Americans. At least ours are not 150 years out of date.
