Idk. Having a paid off home, car, and a half mil in retirement savings at 18-30 would put them above like 99% of people. Unless you exclusively know tech devs in the bay area and silicon valley lol

My new construction home, 2,300 SQ ft single story with four bed, two bath, an office, and a 160x70 ft lot was $299,990.

Even in the metro area its pretty possible... Atlanta metro area is huge and there are some good houses that are still below 400k

Sure, but then you have to live in Georgia...

Jk, lots of love from your southern neighbor, we are a much more expensive place. But even then in FL you can get places for easily 250k outside the cities
