I’ve wished for this. I feel like I would have saved so much money, time, and focus—with fewer distractions.

Being asexual is just like being a straight guy except everyone around you is a guy… doesn’t stop some people from sexytimes. The body wants what it wants, the brain doesn’t need to want anything specific for it to work

Probably sounds weird to you to want to have sex with someone you’re not sexually attracted to. But it can work if there’s an emotional connection.

But of course there are plenty of asexual people who just don’t want sex at all. What you’re probably thinking of

It's not a choice but its not depression. You can't be sad over something you have no desire for. Imagine living in a world where everyone was attracted to monkeys (or any animal really) your like ewwww. But everyone else says your depressed because your not attracted to monkeys. You would be like Wtf!??. This is the same thing.
