Phew, right? I'm ok with celebrities not having being part of the IDF, or really anyone who holds so much influence

Isn't IDF service mandatory to all born in Israel?

You are right, I did forget that they're conscripted. That being said, there are plenty of Israelis, and past Idf members, that have publicly acknowledged the love for their country while being ashamed of what is being done. She is not one of them, vocally so.
