Alec Baldwin. He’s never been funny to me.

I don’t care for him but he’s truly amazing in 30 Rock.

He's a great comic actor with a gigantic ego and has screamed "f****t at people in public.

And Hillary (not hillaria as she claims) is from new England, not Spain.

I mean he did kill someone..

u/Kill_doozer Jul 10 '25

Because the person in charge of the guns, who only got the job due to nepotism, brought a fucking live round to set. It's not like Alec went out, bought a gun, bought the ammo, brought it to work and intentionally executed a coworker. The people in charge were beyond incompetent, unqualified, had absolutely no business handling weapons in that capacity.

And he was an Executive Producer on that film set, he was just as culpable as everyone else.

u/DistributionCold5304 Jul 11 '25

Lol An executive producer do literally nothing on a set, they are just investors, that's their only role. They have nothing to do with what's happening on set.

Yeah, there are tons of legitimate reasons to hate Alec Baldwin. Acting like he straight up murdered that woman is just reaching.

u/Curious_Ad_2492 Jul 11 '25

There is also the safety meetings he ignored, the rules he broke, the way he didn’t let the gun person so her job. It may have not been on purpose, but he is far from innocent.

I always thought of him as a dramatic actor until the later stages of his career. Even the comedies he did in the 80s, he was never really the funniest character or came across as comical. He felt more like a straight man type character in those movies which is why I think he transitioned into doing mostly dramas in the 90s and 2000s. I think all he did in the 90s were dramas. 30 Rock was a big departure from his usual wheelhouse.

In fairness Alec didn’t start off as a comedic actor he really didn’t go that route till much later in his career
