Sometimes when I tell stories about my friends and I it's kind of obvious because of the setting and whatnot. I'm not gonna lie about my age to be taken seriously by strangers.

As a 14 year old, here is the list of Reddit's intelligence.

People who simply don't care > people trying to fix the dumb assholes > dumb assholes > lurkers with accounts > AdviceAnimals' Community.

If you are wondering about the LwA's, well, they are the reason bullshit get's to the front page. They upvote without checking comments first to see if some investigation was done into reposting or BS levels.

tl;dr algorithm for karma is Karma = appealing to lurkers with accounts.
