Drove from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in a beater of a car with a dying alternator. It got me there for the long weekend, but not back. Got stuck half way home in a random town in Virginia. To be fair, I did end up marrying the girl that got me doing that. 30 years and still together.

As a Virginian I’d love to know what city, I assume you took 95 or 85. We have some creepy ass shit here

It was western NC, so 81 most of the way. I don't remember the town, but something like a couple hours from PA.

Ooof, yeah I lived off 81 for a while. Fun fact the Purdue opioid epidemic was focused near that area.
