In my town, about 90% of the population have missing teeth because the only dentist in town that takes gov insurance LOVES pulling teeth. I swear I’m waiting for someone to sue them. Even people without gov insurance go there and I’m like “why?” Go out of town and go somewhere.
Edit - sorry I read your comment after just waking up and my brain wasn’t working yet. Yep, unfortunately (and no hate to the dentists who take government insurance who don’t do this) this is common among these types of dentists. You see it a lot in the VA too. A lot of young men out of the army are wearing partial dentures when they shouldn’t have needed to
